What is culture? Culture is something that a soul learns from his family and surroundings, and it is not ingrained in him or her from birth. It does not necessitate any biological connection. You can take any case-by-case at birth and let him or her grow up in another culture and they will adjust to their surroundings. What is a group? A group is a small compgoalium of people interacting with each other, usually face to face all over time to reach goals. What is communication? Human communication is the march of creating meaning through symbolic interaction. I have delimit the characteristics of the nature of groups. Now we can start to talk rough different cultures and their influences on communication in America. African American culture has helped shape communication in the United States since the end of slavery. In 1973, Robert Williams used Ebonics. This term gained credibility in 1996 when schools in Oakland, California, decided to use African American slang in their side of meat classes. One good example of Ebonics is shet da doe( leave off the door). This term is used in everyday speech by many African American teens. Ebonics is stringing words together to resile one word.
