Malaysia is physically split between west and easterly. Western Malaysia is on the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, and stretches from the Thai border to the island of Singapore. easterly Malaysia includes the territories of Sabah and Sarawak on the north end of Borneo, separated by the res publica of Brunei. Peninsular Malaysia is divided into west and east by a central mountain range called the Banjaran Titiwangsa. Most large cities, slow industry, and immigrant groups are concentrated on the west coast; the east coast is less populated, more agrarian, and demographically more Malay.
