In Laurie Faria Stolarzs Deadly Little Secret camellia is living a normal teenage look with twain of her parents. She has two bestfri shutdowns Wes, and Kimmie whos always there for her. Although, everything changes for camelia on the day she almost got hit by a cable car towards the end of her sophomore year, and was protected by a queer who, pushed her out of the way. The problem is, the boy disappeared without introducing who he was or gave Camelia a chance to thank him. Then three months later, at the beginning of her junior year, weird and unusual things have been occurrence to her. Such as getting pictures of her taken at ergodic times, gifts left in her bedroom not knowing who its from and notes that indicates that shes being watched at all times. Strangely, the boy who saved her three months ago is enrolled in the same school as she is in. Bens (Camelias savior) started a lot of rumors about him cleaning his girlfriend by pushing her off the cliff and masses in Camelias school are surely uncomfortable of having him in the campus. When she recognizes him and wanted to thank him for what he did, Ben denies it and makes it badly for Camelia to get to know him. She felt a continuative with him even a little after the accident in the parking lot. Camelia tries to hang out with Ben as lots as she could and together with his, the stalking escalates.

And she is confused on who to trust. Towards the end of the book, Camelia is being kidnapped by her exboyfriend- Matt. Matt was the one who was obsessing everywhere Camelia and was the one who sent her the pictures, gifts, notes and the threats.
