The object in which I am rough to describe is a Terracotta Kyathos or a cup shaped ladle thought to date from 530 to euchre B.C. The cup, which is extremely well preserved, is about 3 to 4 inches in width. The length of the cup is about 3 and a fractional inches tall, the large make do that was used to hold the cup is about 5 inches long. The bottom rim of the cup is a eccentric person slimmer in width; it is only about 3 and a half inches wide.
The cup, which was perfectly molded out of Terracotta, a lineament of earthenware seems to be perfectly intact. After the cup was molded into its picture shape the artist most likely placed in in some type of oven used to harden the Terracotta and carry through the cup intact. A type of black and ochre rouge was used for the illustrations on the cup. The cup has no chips or cracks and the samara used to depict the Greek Scenes still shines and illustrates a youth reclining and the great sphinxes. It is hard to tell if anything was restored on the cup since it does harbour the obvious sighs of aging and although the paint is bright one quite a little tell that it dried up long ago.
The shape of the cup resembles a slightly wider teacup with an incredibly tall handle.
The handle widens out towards the top and at the very top on that point is a small spiral. The inside of the handle is painted in a dull orange tree and the outside of the handle is black. The inside of the cup is painted black and on the outside the screen footing of the cup is painted in the same dull orange but the illustrations and depictions are shown in black. Starting from the bottom of the cup the slightly slimmer base of the cup is painted orange, the bottom aim of the cup is painted black and from then on the background is seen in orange. From the front of the cup one can witness a depiction of a youth in indite reclining and holding what seems to be some type of animal or snake. The youth has no emotion and if one looks really well-nigh they...If you want to get a full essay, order it on our website: Ordercustompaper.com
