Once More to the Lake

Everyone should bring forth that one set out they like to visit a great deal and is has a great deal of meaning for them whenever they go there. Well, when you find up in a family with a iodin let and three siblings, you do not always get the opportunity much traveling or visit to many place overly often. When extra gold or saving money had a hard thing to come by you do not get out much. My mother was a single young mother and worked extremely hard to make accepted my brothers and I had everything we needed. We only saw things we wanted once in a while. My family has never been able to take a family spend with all five of us, we could never afford it. Although, we did not have much I was able to go away a few times. For each time I had a little(a) vacation it holds special meaning to me since I did not so often, like that time I went to Georgia and meet family I have never meet before, the time I went to Virginia with a friend, and the time I went on a college tour cut out south with an after school program.
Once More to the Lake by E.B. White is an essay in which a go revisits a lake with his son that he once visited in his childhood years. The father remembers how so many of the details from his past that he presently experiences with his son are the same as those he undergo with his father many years ago.



The father looks back at those years and tries to relive the moments through his sons eyes. He knows he cannot, and has impediment dealing with the fact that he cant go back in time. At the end of the floor the father remembers that time has go fore and like his father he will before long become just another storehouse.
Though E.B. White story gave of the feeling that the father is depressed that time had moved forward and that he would soon just a memory too his soon, I think it it great that his son will have those memories. Traveling to Georgia with my mother, uncle James, and cousin Jimmy is a memory I hold very near to my heart.
