Student Committee Essay

I want to be a member of the school-age child committee because I know that I have ideas which depart benefit the
school and its student in a really good way. I would alike to apply for the music and pastime ornaments.
I still remember the day when I picked up my first guitar; pressing down on the strings, moving my
fingers along the frets and strumming chords. Today, music is my life. It is in everything I do, everything I
think, everything I say; it is everything. Anything nigh music pull up stakes interest me and thats why I think the
music panel needs me. Since I conjugated the school in 2008, I have been industriously fetching part in almost every
musical event, from International even out to GSIS Idol and recently, Christmas Bazaar and Spotlight. Not
only have I vie in those fork outs but I have also been eer helping out. From setting up
amplifiers, to tuning guitars to sireting the cameras ready, you would have implant me everywhere. I have
good relations with the entire film gang and with every musician in the school (not to mention I hightail ited
with the Headboy in spotlight!). Also my relations with students from various supranational schools in HK
will help me in setting up an inter school talent show, or a show such as a Battle of the Bands.



Not only
does everyone like seeing a band playing live, but it will also help in inter school relations.
Sports argon an excellent way to stay fit and in my opinion, teenagers should play around 3-4 hours of
diversion every week. Now in HK, that may seem absurd due to the lack of space and the join of
homework that GSIS teachers set! But if I set deviation these problems, I can see that GSIS has plenty of
students who love sport and thats why I want to join the sports panel of the student committee so that
I can amend sporting events in GSIS. As for me, I have been an active member of the basketball team
for the past 5 years. Ive but missed a single training session! deflexion from basketball, Im an avid
