Xbox 360 Life Cycle

I extradite chosen to do my assignment of Product Life Cycle on the Xbox 360 games storage locker made by Microsoft; this is a widely known proficient return in the UK and the rest of the world. The Xbox 360 has had an interesting wargon livelihood cycle as the producers have done lot to expire and sustain its life, including price reductions, promotions and bundle deals. These offers have also helped Microsoft rub ahead of its main competition, Sony with its Play station 3, as salubrious as extended its life cycle.
A mathematical products life cycle is the period of time over which an spot is developed, brought to market and eventually removed from the market. First, the idea for a product undergoes research and development. If the idea is determined to be feasible and potentially profitable, the product allow be produced, marketed and rolled out. Assuming the product accommodates successful; its production will grow until the product becomes widely available. Eventually, demand for the product will decline and it will become obsolete. (1)

The Product Life Cycle frequently is portrayed in graphical form like this;
apply this graph as a base I will analyse Xboxs sales performance and conclude where I think it is positioned.

This graph shows the total sales of the Xbox 360 over the time period of 2005 to 2009.




However, I cannot use this as Product Life Cycle (PLC) for the Xbox as it needs to be a sales figure for each year.

Using entropy from this graph I can make my own PLC graph. As well as data compiled from an alternate website I have found the sales figures for the Xbox 360 from 2005, its release date, to 2010.
