They used drugs as their inspiration. Many songs had themes  think to being ?high? or ?stoned?. A drug that was frequently found in songs of the sixties was ?marijuana?. The  finale of most rock and roll bands was to drink a  fate of alcohol and smoke a lot of marijuana.
