ODYSSEUS FATE; A NEW JOURNEY BEGINS

Many years view passed away, since Odysseus

and his beloved Penelope has reconciled.

For many years, there was peace in Ithaca

but the man skilled in all ways of contending,

was withal to satisfy his desire for adventures.

As it was foret centenarian by that dark prince of Thebes,

The blind seer Teiresias, whom the prominenthearted Odysseus

met with years past in the land of the dead.

The great Odysseus was at last ready to leave

the land of Ithaca where he grew up and where his soul

would unceasingly be. True, he has grown old with years, his skin

wrinkled and his hair white as a dove who flew high in the

skies of Olympus. None would convert his mind and as he

looked back to take one become look, at his beautiful kingdom,

there were two who approached him.

Telemachus, who now stood as gangling as an olive tree,

alongside his mother, Penelope, the faithful wife of Odysseus.

Both had grim looks upon their faces, for neither wanted

this great man to leave his kingdom. Telemachus started his pleas:

Father, must you leave us

behind one time again after so many years of disappointment and pain?

How can you leave mother behind and go on

to some distant place?
