Abstract

The analysis of Robert Frost’s poem ‘Mending wall’ in the light of Post-colonial literary surmisal is done. The use of variant literary theories on a text always gives different meanings. Due to the escalating magnitude of the name ‘Post-Colonialism’, it is mandatory to apply the theory on a text and make certain things clear for the students of Literary Theory. By applying post-colonial theory on the poem ‘Mending Wall’, many key concepts and ideas like Imperialism, nationalism, neo-colonialism etc have been observed.
